Benefits in a Cup of Wu Yi Tea

An improved ratio between HDL or High-density lipoproteins (good cholesterol) and LDL  or low-density lipoproteins (bad cholesterol) has been observed among green tea drinkers.  Thrombosis which causes stroke and cardiac arrest is avoided when LDL is decreased.

In terms of fitness, drinking green tea aids in burning the amount of calories in the body according to the November 1999 issue of American Journal of Clinical Nutrition based from the results of a study at the University of Geneva in Switzerland. People with weight problems drink green tea as part of their weight loss diet.

Green tea aids in destroying bacteria. Dental plaque formation is also checked when one regularly drinks a cup of green tea. Green tea has substances that help prevent food poisoning by killing the bacteria.
